September 2011 Playlist

The June Playlist has finally emerged as the September playlist and all feels slightly righter with the Flirt world now it's been uploaded. It's been 3 months coming, so it's serving as a recap of the best stuff from this summer, and what a summer it's been for new releases. We've been loving The Chemical Brothers, Crystal Castles, Devo, School of Seven Bells, Sia, Wolf Parade, Ratatat and Sleigh Bells to name but a few. Maylist 2010

The year is just zooming past, exams are nearly finished and it's time for the annual Flirt Maylist; this is the playlist that signals the start of the summer proper, festival season, hopefully a bit of decent weather and some students bidding a permanent farewell to campus life (sniffle).

February 2010 Playlist

The dust has settled on January and "its going to be huge in 2010" lists, so we've had a bit of time to digest and ruminate. A few certain things; Delphic and Yeasayer are going to continue their ascent, Irish music is going to have another bumper year (see the 8 native acts out of 19 on this month's list for proof) and the releases for the first quarter of 2010 are going to be low key, but nonetheless rewarding.
