Where is it? Down the back of Áras na MacLéinn, NUI Galway on the ground floor.
The studios aren't quite ready for full operations, so we'll be playing pre-recs and repeats for the next while, but volunteers can now pre-record their shows in the new building.
What's left to do? We're waiting for internet to be installed so the webstream's down, but the transmitter's working, so go with the FM flow!
When is it open to the public? Take a trot down to the back of Áras na Mac Léinn, if we're about, we'll gladly give you the tour. The official opening date ties in with full schedule; Monday 19th of October.
In the midst of all the move chaos we had a student radio blogger from the US drop in to visit us, (making it past all the construction work and barriers!) she took some wonderful photos of the old building, and did us a top-notch write-up, which you can find on her blog Spinning Indie
